Pro tip
Combine: dictate a voice note via your keyboard, then paste it into SUX1 to restructure it.
03 · Configure your summary
Length
Short · Medium · Long — depending on time available and precision required.
Format
Paragraph · Key points · Paragraph + points · Teacher · Revision sheet (student) · DYS revision sheet · Encyclopedic sheet · Philo + quotes · Explain & solve · Dissertation.
Teacher (5 sections + pitfalls): teaching summary · key steps / ideas · people / core notions · concepts to define · comprehension pitfalls.
Revision sheet: the essentials · key dates and figures · words to know · mistakes to avoid · self-test with answers. DYS version: very short sentences, one idea per line, simple words.
A class level selector (primary · middle school · high school · higher ed) appears for Teacher and Revision formats.
Output language
Auto-detect, French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese. Register: auto · formal · standard · informal.
DYS / ADHD / non-native students
DYS revision sheet format, "Reformuler DYS" button under each summary, and the "Vulgariser" one-click action (10-year-old, teen, beginner, B1 learner). Hover any button for a blue help bubble, or open the "Visite guidée" (guided tour) on the Summarize page.
Choice of AI
Claude Sonnet 4.5 (humanities, literature, philosophy).
GPT-5.2 (hard sciences, maths, physics).
Gemini 3 Flash (very large volumes, theses, bibliographies).
Large book (novel, textbook, thesis) — from 100,000 characters (≈ 33 pages), a blue "Gros ouvrage" box appears under the text with an "Apply these settings" button. For a complete summary:
Chapter-by-chapter mode · Gemini 3 Flash (the only AI accepting very long texts) · Medium length · Paragraph + bullets format.
Beyond 40 chapters, SUX1 groups them by "Book" or "Part": the whole book is summarized (up to 4 million characters).
Cost: 1 credit per 60,000 characters (≈ 20 pages). Examples: a 300-page novel ≈ 15 credits · Les Misérables (≈ 1,500 pages) ≈ 54 credits. The global summary is cheaper but only reads the first 800,000 characters (≈ 270 pages).
04 · Read, listen, export, dig deeper
- Read: the summary streams live. You can start reading before it's finished.
- Listen: 🔊 button top-right. Native French and English voices, works offline. A whole chapter becomes a podcast.
- Copy: copy button to paste into a document, email, or LMS.
- Export: "Print / PDF" button for a clean PDF, ready to hand out.
- Summary actions: below the result, the big blue "Actions sur le résumé" bar opens 4 options: Explain (for a 10-year-old, a teenager, a beginner or a B1 non-native reader), Rephrase (other wording, more concise, formal, simple), Translate (12 languages) and Polish (spelling and flow). The chosen option turns blue. The result appears right below, with Copy and Replace buttons.
- Rework this summary: the blue bar pastes the summary back into the editor to transform it again.
- Follow-up question: after each summary, a blue "Follow-up" bar appears below the result. Chain a related question (generate 5 MCQs, draft a parent email, rephrase for a DYS student, produce a lesson plan…) for 1 credit per 5 questions.
